Dear Yoel,
A month has already past since our return from our first trip to Israel. The time has given Karyn and I ample opportunity to reflect back on all that we saw and did.  Our planning allowed us to take a full 3 week vacation in Israel and to see virtually all of the different areas of the country. On looking back, our only regret is that we did not plan for 4 weeks.

           The purpose of this letter is to communicate to you our feelings as to how important you, as our Israeli Guide, were in making our trip to Israel the most amazing experience of our lives. From the very beginning, when all of our 20 to 30 communications were via email, you generously took the time to answer our seemingly endless stream of questions, and obtain answers for us for questions that were probably well out of the ordinary for a tour guide.  

            Then, within 10 minutes of our meeting, both my wife and I knew we had selected the right guide to lead us on our trip to Israel. In those first few minutes we observed glimpses of your wonderful personality, pleasant disposition, keen insights and broad knowledge. These observations proved to be so accurate right up until the moment we said goodbye, that on our future trips to Israel, our dates of travel will be dependent on your availability to guide us.

              After seeing the pictures and listening to all the wonderful details of our experiences with you as our guide, our two closest sets of friends are now in the early planning stages of trips of their own. Alan and Anna Schwartz are anticipating their vacation some time next spring.  Sue and Jack Penn, plan to visit Israel the year after. Of course by then, it will be time for Karyn and I to return for our second trip. Both the Schwartz’s and Penn’s will be contacting you concerning available dates.

              Please accept this letter of appreciation as a measure of just how much your being with us made this trip the most wonderful vacation of our lives.  Please also feel free to use this letter or Karyn and I as references at any time.
